How to turn the wheel trims of the Tata Altroz into rims that look like alloy.
Model: Tata Altroz
MK 1
- Years 2020-2026
In this video we see how to paint the metal wheel covers of our Tata Altroz, to make them look like alloy wheels. We remove the wheel covers and clean the iron rim well, giving it an oxidant, which makes the iron burnished (it costs around 25.00 euros at the major e-commerce chains). Spread it well so that the circle is well united, and clean it perfectly. For best results, clean the outside of the tires well with a specific product. Take the wheel trims and clean them perfectly. Now mask them with masking tape so that only the outlines that we want to paint will remain uncovered, so that the sign is well defined. Follow your taste or, if you want, the aesthetic advice of our youtuber. When you have masked all four of them, place them in an open place, on sheets of newspaper and proceed to paint the black. Pass two coats for a more lasting result. Let it dry very well, for at least 24 hours. It is important that the day chosen for this operation is not cloudy or rainy. Now spray a protective layer and let it dry for 24 hours. After this time you can remove the masks. The result is surprising. You can now put wheel trims on your nanny Altroz.
