In this video guide, learn how to fit universal roof bars on a Toyota Yaris. Universal roof bars are used by those who do not have roof rails (fixed bars secured to the car roof) on which to attach the bars. Install the bar kit as shown in the video, using bars calibrated to the width of the car. Place the brackets at both ends of the doors, and once you have measured the width of the anchoring brackets (place a rubber square under the metal bracket that rests directly on the bodywork), tighten the pins with the butterfly bolt until fully secured and aligned on the car roof. Finally, fit the safety caps on both sides.
