How to open the locked fuel door in the Toyota RAV4?

In the Toyota RAV4, it may happen that the fuel door gets stuck, for example due to a problem with the control button or the lock actuator. In these cases, we can still perform the emergency opening of the door by following the procedure shown in this tutorial. First, we open the trunk door, then we locate the small panel on the left wall and, using a flat-tipped screwdriver, we unhook it. We then grab the actuator mechanism and pull it outwards to unlock the lock.
