In the Toyota RAV4, the fuel door may get stuck, for instance, due to a problem with the control button or the lock actuator. In these cases, you can still perform an emergency opening by following the procedure shown in this tutorial.

First, open the tailgate, then locate and remove the panel on the left side. Next, grasp the indicated black lever using a long screwdriver and pull it towards the rear of the vehicle.

At this point, the lock will be released, allowing you to refuel.
