In this tutorial, see how to replace the fuel filter in a Toyota Yaris, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure the engine is sufficiently cool, then open the bonnet, disconnect both battery terminals starting with the negative, and remove the battery itself.

Next, locate the filter in question, disconnect the indicated hoses and the sensor connector, and using a 10mm socket spanner, undo the securing bolts. At this point, remove the entire assembly from its housing, separate the old filter, and fit the replacement by following the reverse procedure.
