How to Remove the Fuel Filter on a Toyota Yaris

Follow these steps to remove the fuel filter on a Toyota Yaris: lift the car on a column lift or a suitable jack (if necessary), locate the fuel filter and use a socket wrench to unscrew the fastening bolts on the plate (a spanner can also be used), then remove the plate near the container where the fuel filter is located. Remove the fuel filter container from the vehicle (replace it with a new one). Finally, refit the filter to the attached fuel filter container (connect the pipes and wires) and tighten the appropriate bolts. Close the front bonnet.
