How to repair the fault in case of a non-functioning horn in a Toyota Hilux 2011

If the horn has stopped working, the first thing to check is the fuse box. Open it, usually located under the dashboard or in the engine compartment, and look for the horn fuse indicated on the cover. If it is blown, replace it with one of the same amperage. If the fuse is fine, try to listen if the relay clicks when you press the horn; if it doesn't, it may be defective and needs to be replaced. Finally, as a last resort, check the cables and the button on the steering wheel, there may be a loose connection. Otherwise, the horn itself may be faulty and needs to be replaced. In short, it takes a bit of patience and some testing. If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, contact a trusted mechanic.
