The spare tire on the Toyota Hilux is located underneath the vehicle, in the rear cargo area. To remove it from its housing, use the provided wrench that comes with the spare tire kit. Insert this wrench onto the corresponding bolt that secures the tire in place, located at the top of the rear license plate.

By loosening the bolt, you will notice that the spare tire will lower from its housing, allowing you to use it to replace the flat tire. At this point, the removed tire can be placed in the spare tire housing.
