On the instrument panel of the Toyota RAV 4, the Service light that appears can be reset by turning on the instrument panel and navigating through the menu using the controls on the left side of the steering wheel: you must select the "Vehicle settings" option and then "Scheduled maintenance". This will bring up a screen where a confirmation message will be displayed: by selecting "Yes" to respond to this confirmation message, you can reset the maintenance interval.

This way you will also notice that every time the instrument panel is turned on, the Service light will not appear again.
