How to disable the speed limit beeper on Toyota vehicles (but not in the EU)

In this video, we see how to deactivate the speed limit warning (and why it may not work in EU countries). We open the main menu, go to "setup", select "navigation", and then "navigation detail settings". Scroll down to "speed limit settings" and deactivate all settings related to speed limits. Why might it not work in the European Union? Because cars sold after 2022 must have an Intelligent Speed Adaptation (ISA) system, which alerts the driver when they exceed the limits, as required by EU Regulation 2019/2144. Toyota vehicles for the European market often have non-modifiable settings to comply with regulations, so alternatives include lowering the volume of alerts, and if the alert is GPS-related, updating the navigator maps can improve accuracy and avoid false alarms.
