How to enter and exit the service brake mode on the Toyota C-HR

In this video, we will see how to enter and exit the service brake mode on the Toyota C-HR. Let's start with entering the mode, then retracting the rear brake pistons to replace discs or pads. The whole sequence must be done slowly. Turn on the ignition, press the brake pedal throughout the procedure. Lift the handbrake button three times and press it down three times. On the third press, hold it down until you hear the brake motor retract the pistons (it will take about 5-10 seconds). As confirmation, the handbrake light on the dashboard will start flashing rapidly. Now the rear pistons are retracted. To reactivate the handbrake normally, turn on the ignition and press the brake pedal. Press the handbrake button down three times, then lift it up three times. On the third lift, hold it up until you hear the motor reactivating the brake (it will take about 5-10 seconds). The brake light will stop flashing and now the handbrake works normally.
