In this tutorial, you will see how to programme a remote control in the Toyota FJ Cruiser, a very simple and quick operation. For this, you will obviously need a working key. First, go inside the cabin, leaving the driver's door open, then insert and remove the key twice consecutively and close and open the door also twice consecutively.

Next, insert the key again, remove it, close and open the door another two times, leave the key inserted, and finally close the door. Now, simply turn the instrument cluster on and off, hold both buttons on the remote control, and finally press only the lock button.

Repeat this last step for each remote control present.
