How to Reset the Oil Change Light on the Rav 4

This article explains how to reset the oil change/service light on the Toyota Rav 4. It is recommended to perform the procedure only after having the oil changed. To reset, first start the instrument panel without starting the engine, after which the message will appear on the display; press the back button to return to the main screen, then use the right or left arrow button to navigate the menu to the settings option, at which point use the down arrow button to navigate the settings menu to the vehicle option, select it with the OK button, now scroll down to the maintenance option and select it; once selected, you will be asked if you want to perform the reset, confirm by selecting yes and wait for the reset procedure to complete. Once the reset is complete, return to the main screen using the back button.
