The cruise control on the Toyota Yaris can be activated by first reaching the desired cruising speed: once you have reached this speed, press the button with the speedometer icon located on the right side of the steering wheel. This will allow you to maintain a constant speed even when lifting your foot off the accelerator; you can also increase or decrease the speed by moving the lever up or down on the right side.

At this point, you will also notice that the cruise control will adapt to the speed of other cars in the vicinity of the vehicle.

How to Activate the Disabled TRC on the Toyota Yaris?

As the video clearly shows, disabling or activating the traction control (TRC or ESP) on the Toyota Yaris is very simple. By default, the traction system activates every time the vehicle is started. To disable it, simply press the button depicting a skidding car located in the centre of the vehicle where the controls are, such as the hazard lights and the radio, but near the handbrake. Once disabled, the TRC off light will illuminate on the dashboard. To reactivate it, just press the same button again.
