How to Replace the Number Plate Light on a Toyota Rav 4

Replace the damaged number plate bulbs on a Toyota Rav 4. Use a plastic lever to remove the protective cover above the rear tailgate. Access the back of the number plate light located in the tailgate of the car. Pull out the bulb holder (using your hands), then disconnect the bulb from it. Fit the new/LED bulb (same size and voltage) into the holder, then refit the light into the tailgate pressing until the clips lock into place. Finally, test the correct operation of the bulb. Close the inspection cover of the tailgate.
