How to Remove the Fuel Pump from a Toyota Corolla Tank

To remove the fuel pump from the tank of a Toyota Corolla, start by lifting and removing the rear seats to locate the tank cover. Unscrew the metal cap's fastening screws using a socket wrench and remove it from its seat. Unscrew all the fastening screws around the fuel pump, disconnect the power connectors and the fluid circulation hoses. Extract the floating fuel pump from its seat along with the attached components. Connect the electrical connectors to the new fuel pump, insert it into the tank, and screw all the fastening screws back in.
