How to Remove the Stereo on Toyota Yaris

Model: Toyota Yaris Xp90 - Years 2005-2011

To begin, remove the two plastic covers on either side of the stereo. If you can't do it by hand, use a plastic lever tool, not a metal one, otherwise, you will scratch and damage any part you work on. Also, move the upper plastic (see video). Now locate the four screws around the console (they were behind the covers). Once identified, unscrew them with a screwdriver. At this point, the stereo can be detached. However, work gently, pulling each side of the console towards you a little at a time until it comes free. Do not force it immediately. Disconnect the wiring and you're done.

How to Open a Stuck Boot on the Peugeot 407?
