Instructions for Removing the Car Radio

Model: Toyota Avensis T250, MK 2 - Years 2003-2008

To remove the original radio, no special tools or extraction keys are needed, but first, remove the central trim of the dashboard using a plastic tool (then disconnect the connector); similarly, detach the trim around the gear lever: at this point, you can unscrew the radio's fixing screws (two at the bottom and two at the top) and pull it forward from its position, disconnecting the connectors at the back (move the gear lever backwards to facilitate the extraction process).
