How to Remove the Original Radio from a Toyota Avensis

Learn how to remove the original radio from a Toyota Avensis. First, use a plastic trim tool to remove the horizontal trim above the radio, then, using the trim tool, detach the compartment where the cigarette lighter is located. Pull the radio out from the dashboard (unscrew any screws if present), disconnect the various power connectors located at the back and the antenna reception cable. Extract the radio from its housing. To reassemble the various removed parts, reverse the disassembly steps.
