Replacing Spark Plugs on the Toyota Highlander

Before starting the spark plug replacement on the Toyota Highlander, secure the vehicle on a stable and safe ramp or flat surface. Take this precaution, which should be observed in any maintenance operation on any vehicle, to ensure the operator's safety. Now, open the front bonnet of the engine compartment and locate the spark plug to be replaced. Disconnect the electrical connector and, after unscrewing the power supply tube, use the appropriate spanner to unscrew the spark plug and replace it with a new one. Repeat the process for each of the spark plugs to be replaced. Three of these are positioned behind the engine block, and to access them, it is necessary to remove the connections of the air ducts.
