Timely replacement of a faulty or completely broken spark plug is essential to ensure excellent performance and longevity of the engine. In this mini guide, you will learn how to change the spark plug in the Toyota Highlander. Before starting, remember that it is important to carry out the entire operation with the engine off and especially cold. Once you have taken the necessary precautions, lift the bonnet and disconnect the electrical connector located at the centre of the engine. At this point, using a suitable key, unscrew the spark plug located underneath and remove it. Replace it with a new one and finally reattach the connector. Just close the bonnet.
