How to Replace the Radio in the Toyota Tacoma Mk1

This guide shows how to replace the radio in the Toyota Tacoma Mk1. First, remove the lower part of the center console by simply releasing the securing pins. Remove the ashtray and the two screws securing the plastic trim bezel. Remove the air conditioning control knobs and detach the air conditioning bezel using a trim tool. Unscrew the two exposed screws and begin removing the plastic trim bezel. Remove any CDs from the radio and unscrew the four 8 mm bolts to extract the radio. Disconnect the electrical connectors before fully removing it.
