How to Remove the Centre Console on the Toyota Yaris?

To remove the centre console on the Toyota Yaris, lift the chrome part surrounding the gear lever by simply unclipping it. Next, remove the rear passenger ashtray and lift the entire console by unclipping it as well; to facilitate extraction, raise the handbrake. To completely remove the console, you will need to take the buttons from the old console and insert them into the designated slots of the new console. This can now be fitted and secured with its clips.
