How to Replace the Number Plate Light on a Toyota Yaris

To replace the number plate lights on your Toyota Yaris, remove the number plate to make the job easier and avoid scratching it. Get underneath the number plate and use a small flat screwdriver to release the clip that allows you to remove the entire lamp housing where the bulb sits. By pulling the connector, you will detach the outer plastic from the bulb. Now remove the old bulb and replace it with the new one you purchased. You can clean the plastic lamp holder, as it is subject to water and dust. After reconnecting the connector, refit the entire lamp into its housing, ensuring that the clip secures it firmly.
