How to Disable the Seatbelt Chime on the Toyota Auris?

To disable the seatbelt chime on the Toyota Auris, turn the ignition key to access the dashboard until the "ODO" message appears; then switch off the dashboard and press the brake pedal. While keeping it pressed, turn the dashboard back on and hold the button to the right of the dashboard for about ten seconds. Without releasing it, insert the seatbelt so that the message "B-ON" appears on the dashboard: this should be changed to "B-OFF" by pressing the same button. You can then release all buttons and switch off the dashboard to deactivate the chime.
