When resetting the service light on a vehicle, always remember that it is there to remind us to perform an important operation for our safety and that of others. So, before resetting it, ensure you complete the required tasks for that warning. To reset the service light on the Rav 4, close all four doors, locate the button to press, situated below the rev counter, to the left of the dashboard. Turn the key to position 1. Press the button. Switch off the vehicle and press the button again. Start the vehicle again and hold the button until the light goes out.
