How and When to Replace the Timing Chain on the Toyota Yaris XP 90 VVT-I

In this video, you will find the main instructions for removing and replacing the timing chain on the Toyota Yaris second series, model XP 90, with a VVT-I engine. Generally, the timing chain should be changed on these engines every 75,000 miles, or a bit earlier for inspection. Open the bonnet and start by removing the crankshaft pulley, first taking off the alternator belt. Next, remove the air filter housing and the spark plugs to access all the screws of the cylinder head cover. Once you have access to the timing chain, proceed with the removal and replacement, following the video to the end!
