Today's guide will show you the procedure to follow to remove and replace the timing chain in the Toyota Yaris VVT-I. First, open the bonnet of your car and begin by removing the upper plastic cover; then disconnect the spark plug connectors, using a socket wrench with an extension to remove them, as shown in the video. Next, undo the screws of the cylinder head cover, also removing the side cover; remove the alternator belt and the engine mount, then proceed to replace the timing chain!
