Replacing the Alternator on Yaris

Model: Toyota Yaris Xp90 - Years 2005-2011

To remove the alternator on a Yaris, start by lifting the bonnet and securing it. Locate the battery and disconnect the terminals. Move any cables and hoses away from the alternator to access it. Use a socket spanner to unscrew the bolts on either side of the alternator. Once removed, extract the alternator from the engine bay. Fit the new alternator into the appropriate housing, tighten the fastening bolts, and then reconnect the battery terminals. Check the voltage with a multimeter by connecting it to the battery. Start the vehicle and test its operation.
