How to Dismantle the Gear Lever of the Toyota Rav 4?

To dismantle the gear lever of the Toyota Rav 4, detach the side plastics that wrap around the centre tunnel to release the clips of the cover around the gear lever itself. Before removing this cover, unscrew the knob to take it off the lever. This will allow you to also detach the cover around the lever and access its lower components. By doing this, all these covers can be replaced with new spare parts, disconnecting any underlying connectors as well.
