How to Reset the Maintenance Light on a Toyota Highlander xu50

This guide shows how to reset the service reminder light on the Toyota Highlander xu50. The procedure does not require any specialist tools. First, turn on the ignition. Using the reset button on the trip meter, navigate to the "TRIP A" display. Now, turn off the ignition. Press and hold the reset button on the trip meter and turn the ignition back on. Turn off and then back on the ignition again while still holding the button; at this point, you will hear the vehicle's chime indicating the start of the reset procedure, and a countdown will appear on the multifunction display. At the end of the procedure, you will see the instruction to start the engine.
