How to Install an MP3 Player in a Toyota Yaris

This video refers to a Toyota Yaris Verso, but it is also applicable to the XP10. First, take note of the position of the knobs, as you will need this for reassembly, then pull them off firmly. As shown in the video, there are two screws securing the front panel. Remove these screws, then take off the plastic dashboard; otherwise, you will not be able to extract the centre console. Gently pull the casing towards you, disconnecting three electrical connectors. Pay close attention now, as there are some hidden screws around the radio, which is what you need to remove. Two are hidden behind the ashtray, and two more are above the radio controls. Now, gently pull, and it will come away. The power cable for your device enters the plastic casing and goes to the back of the radio, on the right side by the passenger. Reconnect the connectors as shown in the photo provided by the YouTuber. The MP3 player's cable should replace the radio's cable. The video clearly indicates how to connect the various coloured wires. Before reinserting the radio, bundle the wires together to keep them tidy. Now it's time to test it. If everything works correctly, simply reverse the procedure.
