After lifting the hood, you will find the battery located on the left side of the compartment. First, disconnect the negative terminal and then the positive terminal, and then use a socket wrench to remove the securing screw of the plate at the base of the battery. Remove the battery from its housing and replace it with the new one, then reconnect the positive terminal first and then the negative terminal, and resecure the lower plate.
