To replace the air filter on a Toyota Yaris, open the bonnet to access the top of the engine block. Here, you need to remove the plastic cover from the top to access the air filter box underneath.

This should be opened, and you can pull out the filter inside: after replacing the filter, close the box and reposition the cover on top of the engine. You can then start the car to check that everything is working correctly.
