To replace the cabin filter on a Toyota Prius, open the glove box located on the passenger side, releasing the side clips inside the glove box. Once these are released, you can completely remove the glove box, accessing the cover of the filter box at the back. By removing the cover, you can pull the cabin filter out of its housing and replace it with a new one; after replacement, refit the glove box.
