To replace the outer handle of the Toyota Innova, open the door to detach the circular cover located on the side. Once the cover is removed, you can unscrew the underlying mounting screw so that the end part of the handle containing the lock can be pulled out. At this point, you can also remove the handle from its housing to install the new one. Finally, reinstall the lock by securing it with its side screw.
