In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the shift knob in a Toyota Tacoma, a very simple and quick operation. First, position yourself inside the cabin, then grip the knob, hold the boot firmly, and unscrew it with force. Once done, completely separate it from the shaft, position the replacement, and follow the exact reverse procedure. If you need to replace the boot as well, simply unclip the base from the center console and again follow the reverse procedure, of course before installing the knob.
