How to Replace the License Plate Bulb on a Toyota Tacoma

To replace the license plate light bulb on a Toyota Tacoma, access the underside of the rear bumper to disconnect the connector attached to the bulb. Once the connector is disconnected, remove the old bulb from the connector and attach a new one. Insert the new bulb into its housing and repeat the process on the other side. Finally, check that the license plate is illuminated correctly and is sufficiently visible.
