How to Remove the Rear Bumper of a Toyota Tacoma?

To remove the rear bumper of a Toyota Tacoma, access the screws that secure it at the bottom by getting under the vehicle. Once these screws are loosened, you can pull out the license plate lights from their housing, disconnecting their connectors as well. After these components are removed, loosen the two bolts directly beneath the license plate so the bumper can be completely removed. This will allow you to install the new piece, securing it with the appropriate brackets.
