This video shows the wiring diagram for the window of a Toyota Yaris. By interrupting the circuit, you will see the fuses for the main switch, the right window motor, the left window motor, and the rear window. When no button is pressed, both contacts in the main switch rest on the ground inside the switch. When you press the switch to raise the glass, the contact on the switch leaves the ground and connects to the power supply. This allows current to flow from the battery through the fuses, through the switch, through the contacts of the switch, and through the motor; then it returns to the battery's earth side. This raises the glass.
