The following steps will show you the process for removing and replacing the battery of the Toyota Yaris 1.3 VVT-I. First, open the bonnet and start by undoing the two securing nuts of the battery's central bracket; then disconnect both electrical connectors (positive and negative), as shown in the video. At this point, remove the battery from its compartment and replace it with a new one of the correct type and same amperage; secure it properly in the correct orientation and reconnect the electrical connections, then start the engine!
