First, open the bonnet of your car and unscrew the bolts of the battery's central bracket using a socket spanner; then disconnect the two battery terminals (positive and negative) by unscrewing the screws. At this point, lift and remove the battery, replacing it with the correct new one of the same amperage: simply reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure of disassembly!
