How to replace the engine control unit in the Toyota Corolla?

In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the engine control unit in the Toyota Corolla, a very simple and quick operation. First of all, make sure the key is not inserted, then open the hood and locate the control unit in question, located on the driver's side. Next, disconnect the large upper connector by unlocking the clip, unscrew the two mounting bolts using a socket wrench, and remove the control unit from the housing. At this point, all that's left to do is to insert the replacement and assemble it following the exact reverse procedure.
