Replacement of the Diesel Pump

Model: Toyota Avensis T250, MK 2 - Years 2003-2008
Part: Fuel pump

If there are engine problems due to lack of fuel, it is necessary to replace the diesel pump. Open the bonnet and locate the diesel pump. To access it easily, remove the air filter cover. Unscrew the two retaining screws of the pump using a ratchet spanner. Remove the fuel hoses by manually releasing the hose clips or using flat-nosed pliers. Position the new pump in the same location. Using the pump button, fill the inside of the pump with fuel. Start the engine to ensure the fuel flows correctly to the injectors.
