In this video, we will see how to change the gas struts of the rear hatch of the Toyota Yaris XP90; however, the same procedure is valid for most cars that use this system. Before proceeding to remove the struts, we support the hatch with a stand to prevent it from hitting us on the head once the struts are removed. We remove the support, starting with the upper one, then the lower one, and we remove the old struts. We clean the support balls well and grease them, then we install the new struts, starting with the upper one and then proceeding to the other side.

How to Open a Stuck Boot on the Peugeot 407?
