Replacing the engine oil in the Triumph Scrambler 1200, as we can see in this tutorial, is an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, we wait for the engine to be cold enough, then we position a container underneath the motorcycle, locate the drain plug and unscrew it using an 8mm hex key. We then let all the oil in the system drain out, unscrew the old filter with a 17mm socket wrench and tighten both the replacement and the plug. At this point, all that's left to do is pour the new oil through the top hole.
