How to Replace the Engine Air Filter on the UAZ Patriot

To replace the air filter in this vehicle, follow these steps: open the hood by pulling the lever located under the dashboard on the driver’s side near the driver’s door. On the left side of the engine compartment, there is a box that contains the air filter (cylindrical type). Release the clips securing the cover of the filter housing and lift it off. Access the filter housing and remove it. Take the new filter (identify the correct type for the vehicle) and place it in the housing, then reposition the cover of the box and reattach the clips. Finally, close the engine compartment.
