Let's go through the necessary steps to perform routine maintenance by replacing the engine oil and oil filter on the Uaz Patriot. First, lift the vehicle and start unscrewing the oil drain bolt found on the oil pan, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes. After that, unscrew the oil filter cartridge using the appropriate wrench, as shown in the video. At this point, screw on and gently tighten the new oil filter. Unscrew the fill cap and pour in the new engine oil of the correct type!
