Today's guide will show you how to perform routine maintenance by replacing the engine oil and oil filter on the Uaz Patriot. First, lift the vehicle and start draining the engine oil by removing the drain plug found on the oil pan; then remove the oil filter cartridge using the appropriate wrench, and hand-tighten the new one. At this point, unscrew the oil fill cap and raise the oil dipstick; top off and fill to the maximum level mark!
