Problems that can arise from the breaking of turbo pipes

In this video we learn a very important thing regarding turbocharged cars: if we hear a loud whistling coming from the engine compartment, we must absolutely not accelerate, especially if it is a new generation diesel; the car should be taken immediately to a mechanic who will have to change the exhaust pipe and check the ash residue inside it. In fact, when a turbo pipe breaks, you can hear this characteristic whistling from the engine compartment. In a gasoline engine, in the worst case scenario, the catalytic converter and spark plugs may get dirty, but in new generation diesel engines the situation is more complex: diesel is still injected, but without the corresponding air, and since black smoke cannot come out due to the DPF, it all deposits there, and the more you accelerate because the car is not running well, the more it gets clogged. So, after repairing the pipe, we will also have to have the DPF cleaned. Therefore, when we hear this whistling, without accelerating but with a little gas, we go to the mechanic and show them the car.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level.
